Last list price for two:: $98.20 dealer cost $58.92.
Mike, you priced the complete package, not just one individual part. Some parts were only available in quantity, not individually.

Since it's available from Ford: D1AZ-9A011-A comes in a package of two: MSRP each: $49.10 / FTE sponsor tousleyfordparts.com price each: $32.41.

Another example: 91A-2106 .. Parking Brake Lever Pin Clip: MSRP: $25.77 (for the package). What is the FoMoCo Dealer MSRP for one? 64 cents! / Tousley's price: 43 cents.

So, how many of those D3AZ-18541-A's or D3OZ-18599-A's came in the package? One, two, ten? I dunno since both are obsolete, call one of the sources, ask what the prices are.

Smart SoB Bill. If I ever need to order something and it looks to be a ridiculous price, expect me to get a hold of you for clarity.

Thanks for the correction and clarification Bill. I thought those prices were past rediculous but that explains it.

Bill was a Ford partsman for 35 years, Mike was not. Mike was unaware (until now) that some parts came in multi-pacs, not individually.

If the part is still available, one can find out how many came in a package by typing the part number into an FTE Ford Dealer sponsors website.

If obsolete, there will be no way to know (unless I can recall the quantity), so you'll have to call the sources. Plus, obsolete parts prices can vary wildly from one source to another.

For example, High Buck!! Bob "Snake" Allen Ford in Overland Park KS will be outrageous, while Haven Ford in Haven KS will be one of the cheapest.

Many obsolete parts have no prices listed. After a year or so, FoMoCo deletes them.

For THIS!
Once I built one of those out of brass stock and fittings from the plumbing section of the hardware store, it wasn't nearly as pretty as the FoMoCo one, but it only cost $12!
