Which exhaust

I have a 95 F150 5.8L auto. I want to gut the cats, cut the pipe in front of the muffler, and add a flowmaster single in dual out. I was thinking about a 40 flowmaster and just putting turndowns on the muffler. Anyone got any advice or other recommendations. I'm not concerned with getting more power, just want a nice deep, noticable tone. Would the 40 series be the right choice?

Why get a single in dual out if your going to run turn downs?

I would advise against a dumped Flowmaster setup unless you want a lot of interior noise.

If you have to get a Flowmaster, get a Super 40. It sounds much better than the original 40.

I prefer Dynomax Ultraflo.
