So like the title says I have a 1978 F-150 2wd regular cab-long bed with a good running 351w with about 5,xxx miles since being rebuilt along with the 400 tranny which seems ok. Body is strait but has rust spots above the wheel wells and in other places. Paint is faded and rough, all glass is good and the interior is fairly clean. The truck is drivable but I know it needs some work to be pass inspection such as brake work and some wiring along with who knows what else. I do have a clean title. Just trying to see what you guys think I could get out of it if I decided to sell it since some of my bills are adding up. I will try and get some pics as soon as I can. Thanks

 

It depends on alot of factors, like condition, trim level, and the are you live in. A truck like that around here (southern Illinois) I would value that around $1,000. Dent sides are a dime a dozen here and most people want 4x4s

 

Im from St. Louis here so pretty close to you. That's about what I had figured price wise. Like I said the condition of the truck I would say is average for it being 33 years old. As far as the trim level i'm not really sure on that.
