Sorry for posting on an old post I'm new here didn't look at the date till after I posted. Didn't expect a response but thanks for the insight. It's all 4 wheels. I put 3 new calipers on last year. So I don't think it's stuck pins? maybe bad soft brake lines but I think it be odd that it's all 4? haven't gotten codes ran yet but I have a TBC fault now And ABS light came on as well But went off after shutting truck off. I'm trying to figure out how all this is related. I've checked wiring on the trailer plug. Could it be caused by traction controll?

Not knowing what all maintenance was done, did you set the wheel bearings to tight by chance?

Have you ever flushed the brake fluid? Perhaps there is a problem with the ABS system. Does the brake pedal return quickly when you remove your foot?

I have hub assemblies. So I don't think I can adjust the bearings?

last week I drove to town about 15 miles round trip on way home I discovered by brakes where holding some. Got home and found the fluid reservoir almost running over. It had metal in the fluid. I took it all apart and final found what I thought was causing all my problems for last 2 years the return line from reservoir to pump was rubbing the steering. So replaced hose. Drained all fluid. Do you know what all that could have damaged which may be causing my troubles?
I'm back at work today I will check that out when I get home this evening and let you know. Thank you all

How to flush brake fluid?

Hey guys I'm back.
I had gotten a used abs pump last year to try and fix my problem which I now think was the hose from reservoir to pump! I believe it may have been faulty I put my original back on this afternoon before church. Bled brake lines at abs. The fluid looked milky! But the brakes seem to be acting somewhat normal. I need to put the proper hose from reservoir to pump. I had to used a hydraulic hose to get me by. No one in my town can order it. Does any one know of a good reasonable place to buy one?

It's so speratic but I think abs has an issue. Light comes on rarely goes right back out. But the other day it stayed on still truck turned off. Brake pedal pressed down firmly it vibrates and sounds like hydrobust is making noise. BRAKE pedal returns slowly most times. Can anyone give me direction in checking the abs system and hydrobust out and flushing the brakes out. Thanks very much for everyones help!

Hey everyone. I have finally found a guy with what's sounds like the exact same problem that I have. He replaced his steering gear and fixed the problem. So praise God maybe I can have my truck back. If anyone knows of a good steering gear with a reasonable price I would greatly appreciate it.
thanks to all for all your time and effort
