I decided to not even go look at it. To many red flags. In one ad on craigslist it says 351m on the other is says windsor. He didn't know if it had overdrive or cruise control. I asked for pictures and I got 4 pretty crappy ones. I know when someone asks me for pics of something I'm selling I said them way more than they probably even want. I think I remember it being listed a while back and you would think if it was at all decent someone would have given $850 for it. Plus it needs both fenders, both quarters, both rockers, tailgate, looks like both doors and those stupid handles and roof rack removed and holes filled.

He also didn't ask any questions of the car, almost like he didn't care as long as he got something different.

Thanks for the advice and opinions, they were appreciated.

Yeah, you don't want something that is going to be more trouble than it is worth. (Unless it had sentimental value.)

I had kind of came to the conclusion that I didn't want the extra expense of driving it daily, I don't care for the lesabre, but only having to put $40 of gas in it every 10-12 days is pretty nice.

Maybe I will replace the 77 with a 78-79 bronco. Who knows, or just be happy with it.

You do not want to drive the Bronco daily
You want to own it and drive it once in a while on the weekends
Own it for investment
The Lesabre can be bought anywhere for cheap
Matters not what momo is in the bronco now
Put whatever motor you want in it
Most likely had a 351-400M and a C6

Haha yeah. I can't remember the price of gas 11 years ago... I was driving the Bronco daily then going back and forth to college then and that was a 50 mile round trip! I've used the Bronco as a daily pretty much since, but it's diesel now so it gets better mileage. My work commute is a 70 mile round trip now...

Maybe one day I'll have a vehicle that can average 25+ mpg but my wife says I'm not allowed to get any more vehicles. I had to get rid of one of my F-150s when I got out of the Air Force and moved back to AZ! Haha.. two F150s, a Bronco, Camaro and Tacoma was a little much for two people I suppose....
