I just signed up and I recently purchased an 06 Ford F250 Turbo Diesel. I was wondering what kind of upgrades and brands I should look for or steer away from?

Congrats. There is lots to read up on the 6.0, good and bad and preventative things. I recommend going to the 6.0 section a little further down on the page.

If truck new to you start with changing all fluids and filters stick with OEM Filters

Getb the updated Fuel Press Spring for injector Life

Then get some Gauges Going to check it out you need to verify the condition of the Coolers I use a ScanGaugeII and love it and Lots here use it too its around 150.00 but just saw a thread looked like they might have been on sale probably for the Holiday weekend IDK worrth a check

Some use Edge Gauge to it gets a Couple Less Gauges then the SGII but it updates very Fast what I liked about it plus they do a few addon gauges folks like its more spendy but whatever you like

Dont do like some and rush out and get a Tunner on it ASAP do some research First know what you have and what your getting into
