94 superduty

i have a 94 ford superduty 7.3 non turbo auto. it is eating trannys e40d whats going on now is 1st-reverse, and thats it . it will not shift out of 1st auto or manual i just changed it put in another from a diffrent truck and it does the exact same thing im lost changed the tps,new, now i just orderded a tranny ecm from advance any input would be greatly appreciated thanks for reading Tony also the speed sensor is working it sits on the rear diff,

Unplug the Solenoid Pack plug on the passenger side of the transmission. Pop the back of the plug off and check the wires going into the plug and see if some of them are not connected.

Is the heat shield missing from around the Solenoid Pack plug?
