I'm still scared of '04s. Would need some endorsements and encouragement.

So I stopped and looked at that crew cab. It was basically a motor surrounded by rust and a nice leather interior. I probably could have pushed the box off the rusty frame. It was Swiss cheese.

what is so much better about the 05's? do some digging in the 6.0 forum, you might be surprised what you find dependability-wise after a few basic upgrades/maintenance moves.

and some of the issues the later models have that the early ones don't. I did a ton of reading before I pulled the trigger, I was right there with you on the fence.

I haven't really done any research yet. Just what I've heard, being that any issues were sorted out by the end of the run. It ultimately comes to the money. I don't want to go over $15k OTD. This gives me room to possibly put a plow on it later or just lower the payment.

I would like a Crew if I'm going to pay all the money, but a lower mileage and priced super cab will suffice.
The 2000 is 2wd.

Morning All!!!!

Is it Friday yet?

Pretty decent day around here today, wearing rain coat as I type.. Seems the roof over my desk is leaking..

Few machines are down.

Ride to work was quiet.

And there is nothing I can do as of yet to improve, or make worst.. so I am good

Jeez Pat, sounds like fun there. Temp is only 50° here.
I'm working in a building with no signal today, so no searching for a truck.

Thanks Gigger! The more I look at local trucks, the more I think i should look in Tennessee. No salt exposure and a one day drive.

Great plan there,

Thats true, the darn salt ruins every thing up here too........I would drive to Texas if I had to, to get the truck I want.......

I've thought of Texas too, but I would have to fly. Tennessee I can ride the dual purpose bike and throw it in the bed.
Talked with the credit union today. They said that they use NADAGuides for loan amounts. 2007 and newer, they use retail. Older than '07 is trade in value. Hopefully that doesn't put a wrench in it.
