We stayed at the Forrest Hills B&B and Convention Center. It was not a traditional B&B, but was still nice. I got the "Romantic Package" for 2 nights (comes with one dinner, a picnic basket, champagne with personalized label, 2 fluted glasses & 2 scented candles and of course breakfast each morning) for about $275. The room wasn't spectacular, but it did have a private whirlpool and balcony. The place itself is very secluded.

Hope everyone stays dry this WET Tuesday.

How did you get that price? I just don't see it on their website.

Good morning Tennessee! Northern Michigan guy looking for some help finding a rust free F250 super cab or crew cab XLT diesel. I'm looking to spend no more than $15k OTD. My lender will only finance trade value if its a 2006 or older. So I need to find a realistic seller. If anyone can point me toward a good dealer or seller in your area, can you please let me know? I'm going to start another thread about what I'm looking for in a second, so that might be a better place to post.
Thanks in advance fellow FTE members!

The price depends on the dates....we stayed Wednesday & Thursday night---off nights for them. I also booked 4 months in advance, and they were giving "early bird" specials at that time.

Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Do you know which room you stayed in? We are going to book a room for the first week of October.

We were in "Wilderness Lodge, Room #1". The set-up is unique: they have single "Camping-type" cabins, a couple small "lodges" with 4-8 rooms in them and then the main "Inn" which is more like a hotel. It is NOT a traditional style bed & breakfast. The food was really good. Couples eat in a separate dining area away from the conventioners and the breakfasts are buffet, while dinner was served to each couple via waitresses. We enjoyed it. The picnic basket had sandwiches, potato salad, apples, chips, drinks and cookies, plus you get to keep the basket. Not super-fancy but very nice, nonetheless.

Have a GREAT weekend!
