Just changed the multifunction switch to address a buzz I was getting when I engaged the right turn signal.
Not sure I needed to do so but I disconnected the batteries. I was worried about setting off the air bag.
Generally straightforward but I had some trouble with a connector on the ignition cylinder that seems to be what triggers a beeping sound when you leave your key in the ignition after shutting off the car. I hope it doesn't give me problems down the road.
I also sprayed the wheel wells on the inside of my bed with spray on DupliColor bed liner. If the wheel wells turn out OK, I'll use the 1 gallon kit to coat the floor of the bed after I finish applying the Eastwood Rust Converter product I purchased.
Drove back from Ramona this evening. Perfect night for traffic N bound.

I spent the weekend with Mom-inlaw and family. Big project replacing some porch supports that had rotted out. Forgot to take the 'before pic'. We replaced the ones behind the bougainvillea (and I have the scratches to prove)!

I like the beefy look of 6x posts on a patio cover. Over the years I've really developed an intense hate for bougainvillea, can't get within 10 feet of one without I get shredded.
Boogie-villas have their application, usually as a security measure, and they are kinda' pretty for a while each year, but they are a true "natures pain-in-the-***".
Sorta like agave and Pampas Grass.....
Nice job on the woodwork, Sean. Were the steel saddles already in place?
Yeah, the saddles were already there with little 2'' lags that were crusty-rusty and disintegrated when removed. Hammered the rust-flakes off the saddle, ground down to good metal, and rustoleum'd 'em. That's a 4x8 chunk 'o timber. I would'a liked to have put in some rough cut lumber with just linseed oil, but woulda needed a whole lot more changes.
We used 3' cable-ties to get that bouggie back up on the lattice - I didn't know they made cables-ties that long.
