Any one know if the 2002 f250 5.4L has an EGR valve

I'm trying to purchase new headers for my truck. Im not sure whether or not it has EGR on it. I've read that some states don't require it, thus some trucks will not come with it. If there is EGR on the stock headers, where can i find it?

on the stock manifolds, it will come out of the drivers side one near the front, with a tube going up towards the intake. im guessing it has one, my 03 does
