2007 F250 Radio

My truck had just an AM/FM radio it, so I purchased a factory Ford CD player for it, and when I went to install it last night the antenna connection is different. The wire has a plastic female connection, while the radio I purchased has just a metal hole (with no male connection inside of it) and the plastic connector on the antenna wire is too big to fit in there. Has anyone ran across this? Do they make an adapter for this?

are you sure you got the correct year?

I ran into the same problem when I swapped my 2008 AM/FM for a single CD... I originally got a head unit from a 2006 which used a completely different style of FM antenna...

2008

It's possible that 2007s could go either way.

Call Crutchfield. They'll have some for it, surely.
