headache rack, bumpers

I am an experienced welder and was thinking about making some "ranch hand" style bumpers and headache rack, I anyone has some dimensions and what gauge metal should I use

Second this, I would be interested in seeing what materials are normal, what dimensions are used - and I'd be interested in your product.

use the search function. about once a month somebody brings up building a custom bumper of some sort and wants to see what everyone else has. Also, if you check out the 4x4 forum theres a very large thread with a ton of bumpers that everyone's made.
