Minor items I would tell Ford to change

Thought I would start a new thread!

After putting over 1200 miles on New Blue I have some suggestions for Ford:

1. Remove/eliminate the delay in gas pedal input to power response...I believe there's a slight lag.

2. Add movable arm rests (at least on the inside of both front seats.

3. Personal preference here...continue wrapping around the rear tail lights to the liftgate.

4. Make a third seat floor mat cloth and in the accessory all-weather mat.

5. Make a floor mat that goes over the spare tire section while the third row seats are in the upright position.

6. Add HID headlights without requiring the 302A package.

7. Most important, give her a little more power!

8. Add at least 5 more gallons to the fuel tank.

We Still Love This Vehicle!

I would ask for a "Mute" button on the steering wheel. My last car had that and it was VERY useful!

I just wish I could get a few of the "Limited" options on the XLT. I want the Sony stereo!

Also I would have them change the Climate controls. I hate it when I have the AC on and I then set it to max then back to normal , it doesn't return back to the previously set temperature. Its a PITA have to reset your temp settings everytime!

We are loving this car...but it needs a larger fuel tank (about 5 more gallons would've been great)!

Agreed, we have a new Limited. So far love the vehicle but fuel tank is too small. Should be at least 5 more gallons.

Get rid of the intrusive Parking brake pedal

and go to an electric operated on...it gets in my way and I am always dinging my shins on the damn thing!
