New '08 Ranger 4x4 for me!
So my '96 Camry is on it's last leg. It actually stalled while driving for the first time as I pulled into the dealer. Backtracking a bit–I decided to check out a '08 Ranger and upon test driving it, I fell in love.
I also have a question now. I am currently waiting for the dealer to finish detailing and completing minor repairs (and installing a a hitch–frame mounted). I was wondering what the actual towing capacity will be on my ranger. I've tried researching it a bit, but have had poor luck.
Specs:
'08 Ranger XLT (maroon)
4x4
5 speed manual
regular cab
Thanks in advance for any light you can shed!

First off welcome to the forum. I know you'll find a lot of good help around here.
I hope you're getting a class 3 hitch. It will give you the greatest capacity for your truck. Check the sticker on the drivers door jamb for GVWR and for front and rear axle GAWR. These can help you figure out the loads you can work with, along with the owners manual for the truck. Your dealer can help explain some of it too or one of the techs that does some towing. Which engine does it have?

The link below should be helpful. Lists different towing weights and cab set ups.
