Any good mechanics in the Southern California Inland Empire.

My '74 F-250 Super-Cab is backfiring through the new Edlebrock carburetor. The timing is very close, and the firing order is correct, but when it's at TDC the rotor bug doesn't point to #1. I want to do a compression check to eliminate the possibility of a valve problem.

Anyone who could please help me out can respond via this thread.
