SCT iTSX questions
I just bought an SCT iTSX. All I have at the time is an iPhone, so the guages are limited to 3 at a time from what I can tell(I have not received it yet, so I've not had a chance to play with it yet). It looks like you get to view a lot more at once with the iPad.
Does anyone know if you can use the itsx dongle with any of the other guage apps like Dashboss?
FYI
Got it from auto anything dot com they price match plus $1 and a couple other sites have it for about 364 plus shipping. Other at full retail of 469. Ofcourse that does not come with custom tunes but to avoid sticker shock for the wife I decided I would get the SCT now and tunes later.

Just talked to SCT. WOW, what a great experience. Brett at SCT went well beyond the call of duty to answer my questions. But I was correct that the maximum number of gauges viewable at once is only 3 with the iPhone. Maybe in an update they will change that. Or I may be looking for an iPad.

I also have the iTSX and here are a few things I just learn while I was at their company yesterday addressing a Water-in Fuel light issue (it would come on when I actived the gauges feature and go off when you close that feature).
They also updated my software to make sure that my Water-in-Fuel light issue was resolved.
Will the iTSX allow me to turn off the EGR when I do the EGR Delete in the future?
There will be a software release (should be around 2/19/13) and it will now give you the option to turn off the EGR.
What tune are you running (non-studded, Air Raid intake and MBRP 4" cat delete ehaust) and why?
I use either the Street Tune or the lower Tow tune. Since I have a non-studded engine, I don't want to over stress the heads.
Basically anything else you can tell me (and other users) about this device.
The Android is now working again, so that is not a problem.
Also, I found that when I turn on the Gauges in the iTSX it causes my Water-in-Fuel light to come on.
This was also fixed with the latest upgrade.
I really want to thank Patrick at SCT for going way above on helping me with my questions.
As far as using the iTSX device with another program, I doubt it would work.

My wife just bought me an iPad 4 and it display 6 gauges at one time. The app stays active while the gauges feature is active. It works really well for me. I mostly run the 50 horse stock tune with the firmer shift on the transmission.
My oil/coolant deltas stay between 4 and 7 degrees so I'm good there.
