The other day i had my truck set on the rear tank and when i pulled in my driveway i heard something leaking on the ground.I then noticed that fuel was pouring out the filler cap. If i set the truck on the front tank everything is fine. Any ideas on what could cause this?

 

There has been a couple recalls for this,don't know the year of your truck but click on" recalls" on top of the page and search your truck.

 

Ok man I get to enjoy the magic fuel fairy too. On mine its the rear pumps check valve that is supposed to prevent extra fuel returned from the fuel injection system from entering the rear tank that has failed. It sounds like on yours its the front tank.
