Wheel and Tire question...

So I'm a big wheel/tire guy. I know not everyone is... but with this big truck, 20", 22", 24" look great. I'm looking at different options and I see a 305/55/20 tire... but I also see 35x12.50R20... It looks like its more agressive so I'm guessing this is how they label off road tires. What size should I look for? I dont plan on doing any lifting at all... but I actually look forward to taking the truck off road (obviously within reason) Can one of the wise men of FTE fill me in on the differences of the above tires and let me know what sizes I should look for in the 3 rims sizes above? Thanks in advance!

Go to & search for Tires by Size to check out their tire specifications (revolutions/mile). Try to find a combination as close as possible to your current (265's?). Off road (within reason) will work best with some sidewall. Check your budget vs. the look you're after. A little photoshopping will give you a feel for the look you're after. 305/55 20 would prolly be perfect for a stock 4x4 Ex.

i'm running a bit smaller 275/55 20 because i wanted to stay exactly the same height as stock. i'm also lifted 2.5" in the front and 2" in the rear.

The tirerack site shows me factory size and if I want to +1 or +2 or whatever, but I dont see any info on the other type of sizes (35x12.50r20, etc)
