Fuel pump failed, now truck is all sorts of acting up please help!!!
Ok so 2 weeks ago my fuel pump went out. I bought a brand mew sending unit assembly since my gauge has been out for a while as well. Now today was the first fillup since and after 63 miles of driving the gauge has not moved. Sits just past the F side. It looks like a bad ground on the sender but before the fillup everything worked fine. Also it may be unrated but now my truck runs hot FAST. I put a new water pump and thermostat in 2 months ago. The new water pump sounds like it's going out already (screeching). I have a warranty on all the parts i install. At stoplights the temp will climb as high as the L in normal and will boil inside the system. However on the highway it will stay between the N and O. Could this mean my clutch fan is shot. It spins but how can I determine if it is spinning at the correct speed.
Also, now while on the highway if i give it gas.. like to pass or acuplerate up a hill it starts to buck and hesitate.. this just started today after the overheating. The over heating got worst with a full trailer I towed and bed i hauled today, afterwords the bucking started.
I'm on a very limited budget here
Also, I hate to say it but I think the drivers side head gasket is leaking outside the head, coolant to air, but not into the cylinder. I keep adding coolant, and have noticed a distinctive calcium/residue trail starting near the headgasket and trailing down the engine.

Hydrocarbon testing uses a chemical reagent to show exhaust gases in the cooling system.
