Modifications and day to day drivability.

Modifications and day to day drivability.
I am posting this because the urge has finally overcome me. I am tired of the poor fuel mileage.
I have started to seriously consider EGR/DPF/DOC deletes and a tuner. I am not looking for recommendations on what tuner or mods to get, there is plenty of info on the forum for that.
What I am really concerned about is how the mods affect day to day drivability. Have any of the mods caused quarks that YOU may be aware of, but other people wouldn't know how to handle.
Example A: With my titan fuel tank if parked nose down on a hill over night, when you first start the truck in the morning the fuel gauge reads "empty" even though you probably have a half tank (depending on the severity of the hill). So lets say, if my Dad were to borrow the truck and wasn't aware of this, he would think he was running out of fuel.
Example B: Putting a locker in the rear of a vehicle like a Detroit locker. YOU may know that when you go around a corner there may be some wheel hop, or it may unload, but others wouldn't be aware of those driving characteristics, and not know to keep their foot off the gas, and coast around the corner.
I know the benefits will be great, but I want to hear if it affected other things with your trucks.
Thanks!
Kyle
