Do a Google search, "country classic cars" with HAMB. You'll find some posts about the place there. I knew I heard the name of this place before, it was on the HAMB. Make sure you have some one you trust that knows what to look for.

BTW, I had a '65 Fairlane about 25 years ago, rust free MO car but the front steering parts were worn. Hard to find parts for it back then, it was an orphan year, it didn't share many parts with other years.

Those of us in the Springfield area are about an hour north of there. Close but not real close. I've visited Country Classics a bunch of times and IMHO he's got mostly junk, and what isn't is way over priced. But naturally asking and selling prices can be miles apart. Stu

questionable , overpriced , and i wouldna buy without someone really in the know of that particular vehicle looking , and by the way take a magnet with ya ... i doubt it would stick very well if at all on most of the stuff there ........ i too live in springfield , but no free time to run down there as my days are pretty much pre planned or i'm beggining to get busy on my stuff again . i can talk to my buddy norm about his running and driving 65 or 66 comet cyclone gt 390 convertible if he wants to sell that is . outside of an engine rebuild it's all there anf still original no hidden suprizes , and it will do one hell of a burnout , and p!zz off greenpeacers with it's appetite for dead liquified dino's ..........Name: !cid__0807011741c.jpg

A couple of buddies and I went there a year or two ago. He has a ton of cars there. They are packed in tight with many having flat tires from sitting so long. I was surprised how poor the vehicles looked compared to the pictures.

Here is the only 65 Fairlane I saw: Country Classic Cars L.L.C. - Antique and Collectable Cars and Trucks - Cars

Seems like a fair price, but I would for sure have more pictures taken and a video if possible. If you can get someone closer to view it, that would be best.

After looking at his stuff online and then seeing them in person, I became wary of how pictures make things look.
It was a fun trip with to go look through everything with my buddies though.

That's the one I was looking at; It appears to have bubbles on the door and fender weld on the driver's side however, it doesn't look too bad.
