The Mississippi chapter of Ford Truck Enthusiasts is proud to announce that we will have a physical presence at the 16th annual “Cruising The Coast”.
We would like to invite all our FTE brothers & sisters to come on down to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We’d also like to encourage attendees to stop by our location during the week and introduce yourselves, visit with us, watch the near constant parade of specialty vehicles and allow us to demonstrate why our state is known as “The Hospitality State”.
The Mississippi chapter is scheduled to be located on the on the corner of Beach Blvd (US-90) & Benachi Ave. This location is right next to the Biloxi Welcome Center which has the iconic Biloxi Lighthouse in front of it and approximately 120 yards west of the westbound exit of I-110 onto Hwy-90. We'll have a large lot of packed sand covered in grass along with a bunch of trees. Bring your chairs, pop-ups & awnings.
This is the Chapter’s first foray into being on the scene of CTC & even my first attendance at this event I’ve so long wanted to see. This participation would not be possible with out the help of local FTE members gatormccluskey (Steve) and Shorebird (Bryan). It’s unfortunate that we are this late in the year debuting this, but we have high hopes that this will become a yearly event and a chance to attract more Ford truck owners of all types to the fellowship that FTE provides.
Please speak up and let us know if you’ll be attending so that we can anticipate meeting new & old friends we’ve only known up till now on the other side of a computer screen. Also if you or someone you know has to leave their Ford truck at home and is driving a hot rod, muscle car, other non-Ford truck or any other type of specialty vehicle for that matter, please feel free to come park with us & visit. Your presence is the important thing.
Please check back here often, as we hope to have more information and more things to share as the dates approach. In the mean time, have a look at CTC as covered by noted car guy, Dennis Gage:
Good job David. I will be there. LOL . We have a 30' tent, so everyone can keep out of the sun. We are working with a local Ford dealer to display some new trucks. We will have grills and coolers on site. Terri and Norma will be serving and cooking for everybody. Ha Ha. See if we can make that work David. LOL LOL. You tell Terri !
Bryan, Just do like the Bears up here. Use the road.

I'll be there with my Wife of 40 years and our newly finished (after 9 years) 1954 F-100. It even has a Ford engine!!! My pre-registration number indicates over 4000 vehicles already registered. Should be great. Also, the Saturday before CTC is "Souped Up Saturday" @ Bible Baptist Church on Dedeaux Road. It was fantastic last year and they give away a crate motor as a door prize. Hope to put a face to a lot of names I see on here. Later, Steve
Good morning Steve B.
I'm glad to see that there will be at least 4 of us who show up.
I know about the prize engine as I had to pick up the one that my boss won 3 years ago.
It's sitting on an engine stand in the corner of the paint shop as I write this.
Will you be in the Parade of vehicles on the Monday the 8th in Long Beach?
That route passes two blocks from my house.
