I'm trying to downsize the gross vehicle weight rate of my 1995 E-350 with 7.3 PSD and E4OD, 6 seater van.

It has GVWR of 4300 kg and I wan't it downsized to 3500 kg.
Curb weight 2790 kg is not altered. Only the luggage/cargo capacity will be altered.

It's for road tax, highway toll both, and ferries charges I need to have this done. I use my van as a passenger car and not as a business truck.

In the European Union we have two tax ratings, above 3500 kg is truck and below is passenger cars.

All of my older van's I have had them downsized and got a letter of confirmation from the old Ford Motor Norway company, but they went bankrupt and relocated in the new Ford Motor Norway. All files from the older US Fords have been lost in the relocation process.

Does anybody know someone or have access to Ford technical files?
And can send me a letter or email with a confirmation that it is OK to downsize the van. The Letter must have my VIN number in it, a stamp and signature from a Ford department.

I have tried to email Ford customer relations centre (CRC), but they only ask me to email my CRC centre in Norway
