will 05-08 headers fit on a 2000?

You will have to return them. The port shape and bolt pattern (among other things) is different on the 3V vs the 2V.

Most 2V V10s did not come with EGR however depending on year and state sold in some have it.
Look at the exhaust manifold on the drivers side of the engine. If there is a steel tube (may be wrapped) threaded into the top of the exhaust manifold (towards front of engine) you have EGR. If there is just a round boss on the manifold with no tapped hole you do not have EGR. If you are not sure, post a pic and I can tell you for sure.

I have returned the 05-08 JBA headers. I am now ordering the Gibson ceramic shorties from the link on post #3. . No EGR. I have not found any install pics and not much review on Gibson headers For 2V V10. I will be sure to open a new thread with a full report. Thanks again. Will keep ya'll posted.
