Speedway Universal Aluminum Radiator Ford/Mopar 28 In. Wide Tru-Kool - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop
Available in 22", 24", 26", 28" or 31" (width measurements include tanks)

!Note! the only difference is the width! They make a taller one, but this is the one I used. You just need to remember you want a Ford style radiator and the width and height and anyone can get you a radiator, I went with this one because I thought it was the best deal, and it doesnt have the glue that everyone on FTE warns about.

Measure across your intended radiator frame (I used the stock radiator frame so I did not have to worry about how to bolt the fenders on).

I am running a 16# cap, and the speedway overflow tank.

still sanding...... have 1 running board in primer, and the cab 1/2 way to primer (still need to skim coat).

Hoping for a productive weekend, if anyone is in the mood for sanding - come on over.

Still crawling along

Haven't posted much but still crawling along. Easy for me to blow a whole weekend just painting the interior of one door....

Had a huge setback with the hood and tailgate, after tons of hours of sanding and filling, after tons of hours with a hammer and dolly.... The paint had TONS of fish eyes.... Put down the tools for a few months I was so discouraged.

Parts wise... Got new rear fenders, new glass, new headliner and panels, and the window trim/rattle kit.

Got the interior painted, picked up cloth and vinyl to consider using to cover the door panels with.

Enough yapping, here are some pics before I head back out the door and into the garage.

Front lower valance with glaze coat

Before

Dream cruise

Still rough... Probably going to replace

Big setback with paint issues

All this prep work was before I had the paint issue

Got the headliner and other interior panels in. Snaps came on my carpet kit so I finally went to buy the other half of the snap that wasn't included and got them installed. Hard to get pictures that are good from phone....

Sure would be nice to make it to truck stock with the truck. Any lockdown on date and location?

I'm hoping to have it all one color primer this year.
I'm excited to get the headlights on and wired up so I can drive it further than around town.

Thanks for the feedback, got the front end apart to keep crawling in the right direction.

I am definitely not a body man, but I love driving it even more now that everything I can see from the inside is painted or primed.

Too far for me, I would be interested in a Midwest event.

Have been sanding the past week or two.
Got a glaze coat over my sanding work, but still need to sand down glaze, and then respray with primer. After that its going back together again, but in semi final form (probably be a year or 4 before tackling final paint).

Going back at it again tomorrow after a few weekends off... Almost all in primer... Round 3 of blocking has begun on some of the panels too.

Truck looks fantastic!! I'm soooo jealous.

I know you probably don't feel like it now, but keep going and get the paint done now.

Option I : Final primer > Paint
rub back, spray on, put truck back together once, feel GREAT

Option II : Drive in Primer for a few years
surface rust popping through, have to disassemble again, strip back to metal, redo filler from scratch again....and still need to paint.

It's looking soooo good, and it gets easier and easier from here!!
