The company name was Pico. (Amazon Special) The only complaint is they were supposed to come with the black silicone coating applied, instead of the lighter cover. All and all I am glad I saved the money over the other catalogs - as long as they help with some heat control.

finally fired it up last night, starting in on wiring now... Will need to get driveshaft made and trans cooler and fan mounted to set the cam.

Major milestone for me, hoping to move full steam ahead now (finally).

Congrats on the fire-up!

What's the covering on the brake lines, Nomex?

You may already planning on changing it, but just a reminder to shorten that upper radiator hose so it does not loop up higher than the fill cap to avoid problems with air pocket formation affecting the cooling.

Got a little further.

Starting to rough in the exhaust now. Gas pedal and linkages need to go in before I order my driveshaft, but I am not too far from driving in theory.

Will need to add carb spacer, install mechanical fan, finish up some linkage, and switch out to the permanent valve covers - but the engine bay is starting to resemble a finished product.

Slowly but surely coming along... Got some more wiring untangled, installed carb spacer and mechanical fan, figured out I had a bad proportioning valve and swapped it out for a wilwood - but the fun of rebending flaring and chasing leaks when trying to bleed is commencing. Took a "brake" from the frustration and started throwing some odds and ends on.

Stick with it - you will get there soon.

When I did my brake system, the first time I tested it, every joint leaked - yes, every one. I went through and loosened/tightened every joint several times to seat them down better and eventually got everything sealed.

I for one see that suicide **** on your steering wheel
as an accident or injury waiting to happen. They work
very well on a fork lift truck as they where designed to.
Not so much on anything else. Sorry but ya got a great
truck other than that.

Temporary in theory, went with a sheet of architectural grade plywood and some leftover deck stain.

Battery is in the Hamm's cooler, got the tail lights mounted still trying to sort out all the wiring with the aftermarket wiring kit... found out a turn signal switch was needed for the brake lights to work, wired the back half of that up and still not working yet...

I checked the brake lights and they work when placed positive to ground, so I will have to get the circuit tester out and find a way to rig the brake pedal down... I am guessing it is my headlight switch, I am only getting 1 positive out besides the feed, and only with headlights on..
