My Official Build Thread (Lots Of Pics Coming!)

No updates, haven't been giving the 78 any attention lately.
I am updating this to say the 78 will be on the back burner for quite a while until I hit the lottery! haha
Had to purchase a new daily driver, so I traded in my 03 F150 and my 04 Mustang and picked up a 2011 F150 FX4 with the Eco Boost V6.

Mike, another bravo from a new user. Spent a few hours last night reading your thread. I purchased a 74 f100 in Nov and other members have been great helping me through the maze of problems. You seem to be a renaissance man when it comes to problem solving. Very impressive. Keep pacing yourself. Easy to get burned out.

Hey man,
As many others have said, great job on the build. I just spent the better part of a few hours reading this in detail (I'm at work. I finance Harley-Davidsons but since it's snowing today, yeah, on April 14th, it's a slow day). This truck looks sweet. Very inspiring build you've got there. I own a '67 Mustang, and of course a Harley, and my daily driving Explorer (on its way out the door). Needless to say I like my vehicles loud and unrefined. I've been trying to locate another 78-79 F-series. I had one before college that I planned on fixing one day, but it was one of five vehicle I owned and they all had to go (minus the Stang and my '95 F-250 plow). Trying to find one that doesn't need too much work, as I work seven days a week and all my garage stalls are full of toys and cars.
But all of that is neither here nor there. Awesome build man. I hope you get it fired up and finished soon. I was bummed to get all the way to the end and not see the payoff.

Holy cow, I almost forgot about you guys...ALMOST. Life is crazy. Working in the Department of Corrections, got married, and just had a baby boy. Going to fire back up on the 78, so I will try to remember to post and take pics and all that jazz. All I got in my head right now is getting a 670cfm carb to replace the 750. Also, going to tackle the steering. Lots of wander. I assume its just a bunch of 38 year old steering components that need replaced. Hows everyone been?

Glad to hear you still have the 78!
