Ok, so the 460 runs like a champ now, just one other issue...I do not have a water pump 2 groove pulley. Anybody got one laying around I can buy?

YAY FOR PROGRESS FINALLY.

I wont talk too much, just going to say, 460 is in and running BUT I am still trying to find an original water pump pulley so I dont have to order an overpriced billet one. If I cant get one by Monday, Ill be ordering a 3 piece billet pulley kit. Also, got my grill, square headlight buckets, and push bar back on.

My grill shell is from the old owner and its a cheap LMC one...fitment sucks so I didn't bother trying to line things up properly. They were close enough, so Ill wait till I get all new stuff from DC. End of talking, picture time.

Tried to get photos showing my clearance between the starter and headers...headers are shortys inside the frame rails. No clearance issues and around 3-4 inches away from the starter...I dont think I will have any heatsink issues.

AND the last piece I am waiting for to wrap this up.

I think so too. The 460 is so awesome. I have only got to drive it about 10 feet because of not water pump pulley, but after I break it in, Ill post a video of it running.

haha Thanks. I am going to paint it when I get new grill shell/front bumpers. Didnt want to paint it and then chip it removing it. Its a PITA to mount the bumper and push bar alone lol

Bolt the guard to the bumper with the 2 bottom bolts (loosely) and then put the bumper w/guard in place and use 2 #3 screwdrivers in the upper bolt holes to hold it.

Then remove the bottom bottom bolts and do one finger tight at a time till all 4 are in.

Try it with home made clear plastic gaskets between the guard and bumper face. I hate to scratch that pretty chrome bumper.
