Same here!!! Still sitting in garage on jack stands with the back filled with bagged and tagged bolts, fasteners, new parts and misc. parts.......and piling storage boxes on roof!!

Got the money for the rear end that was stolen from friends shop and made some $$$ doing repairs needed from the break in. AND I TOOK THE WIFE ON A MUCH NEEDED VACATION!!! So, the Bronco sits in garage while I decide what direction I want to go. It has kind of stalled for the moment.

Looking at an 08 F-350 crew cab, 4x4 in Louisiana....a friend...of a cousin.....of the wives relative! (I think that's how that goes!) Anyway, it's lifted, chipped, tuned, and EGR and DPF deleted......and just plain MEAN!!! I just don't know if I want to go back in debt.

Decisions...decisions...decisions!!

I unpacked the new (to me) interior door panels and almost gagged at the overwhelming stench of smoke So now they're airing out before I scrub them down and install them

OK.....You've peaked my curiosity! I couldn't tell by looking at your steering column.....was your Bronco originally an automatic?? What did you get your ZF out of?? And is the 205 to the tranny an Advance Adapter??
I have a 93 and am considering a switch to manual.

I don't know yet. It's still not running. It was made for the earlier bronco for sure, had to bend and reverse the levers so they come out the right spot. Still need some tuning. Still in need of wheel studs, brakes and drive shafts for it.

When I bought it it had a barely running 5.0, slipping E4OD, and a BW 1350 t-case. I put a mildly built 5.0 from my wreck, a M5 from a '90 that I parted out, the 1356 from my '89 wreck, and a 9" from a '80 bronco which sadly also went in for scrap iron. I drove it for a few years and started gathering parts for a do over.

I bought a donor F250 from a friend, using the ZF, D50 TTB and the 10.25 rear from it. Engine is from a '94 F150, 5.8. Rear axle now has 4.56:1 gears and an air locker from Yukon.

No adapter was needed, just some careful measureing and alot of time with a die grinder to notch the tailshaft of the ZF. I may have to modify the trans crossmember yet as well because the front driveshaft looks aweful close now.

Here's a pic of linkage and trans mods. Compared to before it was installed.

I hope this helps.

And F250 huh? So uhhh, what kind of brake system did those have? I'm in the process of a possible Hydroboost conversion for my 78. I think it was 90-95 F250-350 tricks that had it but I'm not sure.

If it had the hydroboost I'd have a home for it anyhow. Going out after supper to run the air line back to the rear diff, maybe work on engine some more.

Small repairs coming. Wheel bearing was loose. Took it apart inspected everything, all looked good repacked and tightened everything down. Tie rod ends are gone, thats Thursdays project. Going to buy Manual lockers here soon and get those in. Just put 2 new drum covers on they were all cracked and rusted, metal was scraping on rims. Otherwise truck is running good still driving it everyday to work.

Is there a source to get replacement padding on the interior of the door panels? I figure it'd be easier to just chuck the current smoke smelling ones and getting new ones.
