Picked up lottery tickets for the wife yesterday before work. Gonna be millionares ya know. Turn key CLICK. Okay bad connection. Leave bronco there cause I have to go to work soon. Lunch time go to the wreckers and pick up a couple things. Positive cable is shot. After work open door and dome light comes on. Bronco faries showed up and made it good. Nope. Fiddle a bit and give up.

Go home and sleep. Remember it's 4 am at this time. Head down this morning, open door dome light comes on. Turn key. You guessed it CLICK. Leave key on and blower on. Fiddle with some wires after replacing the positive cable. Boom blower motor comes on. Turn key CLICK. Repeat 3 or 4 times. Fiddle with ground on block. Boom I think we are on to something here. Get it running and home.

Pretty bad connection. took the bolt out, things looking pretty rusty and bolt wasn't all that tight to begin with. Wire brush the poop out of it and re connect. Good to go.

Drove the '93 Bronco for the first time down the block a few times then took it out on a county rd. behind the house...not bad for a $200 truck and all I've spent so far is 2 sets of plugs and a fuel pressure regulator.

Brakes went out on the '91 on my way home from work. Resivoir was empty so added a pint to it, stepped on the brake pedal and heard a hiss from the back of the vehichal. Had the wife step on the pedal while I was under it and found the driverside brake line was broken next to the junction. Pulling the line off was a bear because it was seized to the nuts. Center one was easy because it was broke off. Reflared the line and put it back on for now. Purchased 25 ft roll of 3/16 of NiCuFe line now to make some new lines for the 9 inch rear.

I'm glad no accidents occured while you had no brakes Greg, brakes are one of those items we forget about until they scream for help or fail...

ywhic- Ha I'm actually thinking of getting shocks for my bronco today. Only problem is the front of axle and behind axle is confusing me. It still has the factory shocks on it :O

The front of front axle are longer (and not truly needed).. some people leave them off when doing the shocks..

The rear of front axle are shorter and are needed.. these are like most F150 trucks.. This for me was an 18mm socket and 18mm air socket for the bottom bolt.. the top was 14mm though rust may make the top bolt shrink to 13mm or 1/2".. (Darn rust)..

Not all Bronco's have quad-shocks up front.. only the TOW models from what I've learned..

The Monroe LT's were at the local Advance for like $25 each.. and I had a good coupon so I bought all 4 for the front..

Upon removal the passenger side had no/very little lift left in it.. the driver side though very rusty still had some life in it and came back up pretty fast (not as fast as the new one though)..

Same here. I have the tendency of only buying products that are stamped with made in USA. Unless it is minor stuff that would be rather difficult trying to get it.
