Installed new BWD oil pressure switch.. It came with red permitex stuff on it.. I did a wrap of teflon tape to be extra sure.. (gauge tested good).. I had to replace the connector as the old one snapped of.. But overall all is well now..

Started to work on a hole in the back of the cab near the tailgate. Started to cut out the small spot and suddenly it tripled in size. The body on the truck is this thin, crappy little 18 gauge steel and my replacement piece is 14 gauge steel so it didn't go well together. Then I discovered my quarters are starting to rust from the bottom up, the bottom of the passenger door is about to have rust eat through it and of course the tailgate is shot, but I knew about it.

Now I am contemplating selling the truck cheap and getting a new one or parking it all summer to turn it into my project vehicle..

Ideas? because at this point I really don't care due to the fact that as soon as one thing goes wrong... EVERYTHING GOES WRONG!!! (oh ya the brakes are squealing too with over 50% pad left..)

Got my brake line in and the brakes are bled. I haven't test drove it yet cause I have been farting around trying to get my Xbox live account back up. I can't remember my password for the life of me.

We've all had "those days". Give yourself and the truck a few days at least before you decide to trade it off on another project. Even though something new may be prettier, you can bet the replacement truck will have it's own issues. Even brand new ones often do!

My "brand new" truck would be a 79' bronco. I got another thread questioning it.

Went to parts store. Got some rubbing compound to see how well the hood and roof comes out. Clear coat is a coming up a little. Gonna see if I can buff and shine it up a little or if I have to repaint it. This Florida sun is HARSH!!
p.s. At least we don't have to shovel sunshine!!!

Drove the bronco after I replaced the brake line and bled the brakes. The pedal isn't as firm as I hoped but the brakes work and don't pull.

That's the big f350 booster right? I thought about that but right now I need to pour money into my super beetle so I can get it running and park the bronco.
