Too colorfully for me.

Edit: I seemed to be having issues posting. the IMG code doesn't work, oh well.

Fixed the transmission lines to radiator..had to use a hose on one. I am about broke. Got 93 octane for the 79 Bronco. Cranked it up and drove it BUT no brakes. Got to bleed them since I broke the brake line at the master cylinder. Got to bleed power steering too.

I haven't done anything yet today but yesterday I tightened all the bolts to the tranny pan, they were all loose and one bolt had disappeared... So I found a replacement bolt and tightened them all down, then filled the fluid up. It should shift better.

Next the tire wobble issue is solved I think, I took it too the tire shop and had them rebalance the rears. The driver side was over an ounce off and the tire had a kind of high spot. So the guy dismounted the tire, rotated it, re mounted it, then over inflated it and deflated it to the right psi. He got it rebalanced and mounted the wheel on the truck, so far its all good.

Replaced the driverside axle, seal and bearing. Dumped 3 quarts of Valvoline synthetic blend back into it. Finally installed the rear window, again. Found an OE heated glass for $100 last fall. Finally got tired of fighting the plexiglass replacement. Going back out to clean the ground connection for the winch at the front so it'll work proper while cutting /pulling on a big tree branch I'll be cutting in the morning.

Today guess what? NOTHING BROKE I drove the bronco to a GameStop store to get my step father a present for his birthday tomorrow, then drove home and everything went as smooth as it could. I fought with the brake line but finally got the sucker out, went to AutoZone and couldn't find a straight length of pipe to match so we decided to check the computer system to see how the rubber section comes off. Turns out it's all one unit. The little nut on the rubber side is all for looks. So I had the guy order one for the morning and went home. Tomorrow I plan to get this brake line and fix the bronco, then do the valve adjustment on my Beetle in hopes of getting some compression so it can run.

Will do. And thanks! Still out rounding up pullers, presses, the proper grease, and a new gun that'll be dedicated to this particular stuff after reading all about cross contamination and the incompatibility of the different greases.

"Use good parts, do it right the first time, and never have to fool with it or worry about unexpected headaches." (fingers crossed! )
