It looks to be a good piece and will save me a lot of headaches so I don't have any complaints. I'm not really looking forward to paying for the clutch/flywheel on a student's budget though.
Should be getting back to work on it before too long as school is almost done for the summer.

I've got questions about the clutch myself. I'm not sure anymore that I wanna run the adapter simply because I don't know how available the clutch itself is.

From what I know the only clutches that work right now are custom made.
It's a billet flywheel twin disc, so I guess if you need a clutch/flywheel it won't be cheap but shouldn't have to worry about not getting one.
Looks like they updated the website and have the conversion parts listed.

That's what I feared. I'd rather be able to pull into any truck shop or napa and get the parts a need.

With the ZF how's the cab fit? Should be a lot easier now.

This is pretty much exactly what I want to do with my 77 crew cab. I have a ton of questions. What are you going to do for a speedometer? Will you fit the 7.3 rad and intercooler. Have you thought of air to water to save space? Could you shave the oil pan for axle and X-never clearance?

Sweet build. I put a DT466 in my 71 IH Travelette and am working on a DT360 in my 91 F350. You probably got the adaptor plate right before I ordered mine. That's the only thing I'm waiting on right now. And I noticed someone said about the steering pressure relief valve. Everyone I've talked to said you can hook the DT pump right to the Ford box with no problem.

I haven't been getting much else done because I've been working on other projects. That and I've been trying to find another highboy frame to build a work truck with the Dt and wait to build the crew when I find another Dt.

I ended up selling the 7.3 to make up some money for another project, so I'm not sure on what radator I'm going to use but the intercooler will either be a Cummins or aluminum 7.3 unit.
I'm going to be using a highboy divorced transfer case which has the speedometer on it's output, so I'll be able to run all Ford parts for the gauges hopefully.
As for shaving the oil pan it shouldn't be a problem with the new trans adapter and I plan on a small lift for clearance between the axle and pan.
That travelette sounds like a badass rig and that's good news about the steering setup. Should help avoid some headaches anyway.

What is the weight difference between the gas and the DT360? Front end is going to need attention. 75 f350 with a perkins 4 cyl needed lots of parts replaced ---- frequently.

How is the build going? I am really interested in doing a DT360 swap. The swap you are doing is awesome I really appreciate you taking it step by step. I am also from Nebraska.

How did your truck build turn out? It's been many years now since the last update. Hopefully it's all good.
