hey guys. im working on a 2007 Lincoln Mark LT. 5.4. everytime i open the door the chime starts going off. with the key out of the ignition. i have been reading on here about cutting the black wire with pink stripe. is that the same for the Mark LT as a F150? and has anyone found the real way to fix it or is cutting that wire the only way? any input would be great. thanks.

also.. i can tap the ignition or smack the steering wheel and it will go off for a little while. then come back on
