Help with my F250
Hey,
I need some help with a F250 I just purchased. Its a 74 F250 and I need some help with drive line information. The body on the truck is a 73 F100 so the VIN number is out.. I believe the motor is a 360. Its a 4 spd. with a creeper gear. The transfer case is a splicer and it has a closed knuckle front end and a 10 bolt rear end. It has front drum brakes. What I need to know is the following. Will a NP 205 transfer case fit, and will it bolt to the current transmission or will that need to be changed also ? Where can I find a front disk brake conversion kit. ? Any help with trying to ID what kind of drive line I have and where I might be able to find the brake kit would be great. Thanks

There are kits available (see link below) but they're pretty spendy at over $500
Like Mark said, get yourself a 77.5-79 D44 for less than a few hundred dollars.
