Post Pictures of your Solid Axle!

I wanted to see what people are doing with their solid front axle trucks im in the process of deciding whether or not to junk the solid axle in place of a mustang II front end but i really dont want to have to do that(i dont know if i can get the height i desire with an axle)
i look foward to seeing the pictures that are posted
Specs would be appreciated, along with what you had to do to make it work! if anything

I assume you are wanting pics of completed trucks that are lowered with stock front axles? Some are running dropped straight axles, but I don't know if that is what you want.

Check out the pix in my gallery. (to see gallery pix, click on my user name at the top of this post, click on see gallery. The first few pix show my 56 panel. It has 2" dropped front axle with reversed eye lowering springs. It could be built lower, but I'm setting it up to tow a car trailer so I didn't want the rear bumper dragging on the ground or the trailer tongue too low.

Straight axle with mono springs is what I'm going with.

After?....

Soon to install Mid50 Toy power steering and AC unit. The disks up front make it safe. I have no problem on the freeway or in town with solid axle. Would like to try one with a II or Jag front end.

Nice. What shocks (part #)?

Here's mine 1/2 way cleaned up with a wire wheel:

Here it is installed with only 3 leaves (not enough):

Here it is with 5 leaves (hopefully just right):

my question is, the mono leaf doesnt give you issues when you hit a pot hole such as distorting and sending the truck on a back and forth rampage?

No, shouldn't be any different from regular springs, they are rated the same as the stock spring configuration plus all bushings, king pins, etc., are new.
