I would be very interested in a kit that Ford could install/warantee. There was some talk about this not too long ago. I thought Mike from 5-Star spoke of it.
I don't drive my truck alot at all. Not even 10K/year. I would definitely do it if Ford backed it. No questions. I would expect it to be somewhat expensive purely based on supply/demand, but still. A supercharged F350? I'm in!
I'm interested in seeing what kind of power this product can add, but I'm probably wouldn't be willing to put down that much $ for a while. I'm doubting Ford would cover this thing under their warranty, since the engine was never originally designed with a supercharger in mind.
A supercharged 6.2L? That would be awesome! The instant availability of boost power whenever you need it but normal (or better) mpg numbers provided you keep your foot out of it.......what a deal.
I say this because I just recently became an owner of a 2010 GT500, and the power available throughout the rpm range is spectacular. Obviously my Shelby is a lot lighter than my F250, but with 49cuin more in a 6.2 vs. the supercharged 5.4........ should definitely run up the power a good bit. Or for another comparison, how about the new GT500 with a 5.8L supercharged.....putting out over 650hp. Ford should be able to convert a 6.2L engine so it can take a supercharger & put out over 700hp with big torque numbers too.
What a super duty truck that would make!! Of course a friend of mine is looking right now at a Whipple supercharged V10. Oh the fun.
a supercharger would be awesome, if i had $7000 just laying around. Also, I would worry about the longevity of the motor with the extra stress. I guess its a nice option to have if you don't have the same worries as me. Plus, you could make all the diesels out there look like Ford Rangers.

That pretty much sums up those numbers versus stock on a 6.2 Raptor.
That's 508 rear wheel HP (not at the crank)....
Holey smokes ! The torque only goes up by a tad less than 100, but it's not bad at all.
And...ya...my wife would say the same thing.
I think your math may be out abit 492-366 would be 126 but I think what is important is how flat the curve is. I am in the same boat too, I think the CFO would have problems with this but damn it would be fun hauling my 34 1/2' travel trailer.

I recently got rid of my 2011 F250 6.2 Supercrew long box 4.30 gears with 285/75/18 Toyo MT's with custom tuned SCT X3. Got rid of it because we decided to go from two vehicles to one. And the 250 was way too much truck for my wife to be driving around. I also didn't really have the need for a super duty at this time in my life. I was also a little disappointed in the lack of available performance upgrades for it. I was sad to get rid of it. In order to relieve my pain I bought a 2012 Harley Edition F150 6.2 and got a Roush supercharger, Roush cold air intake and Roush exhaust. Let's just say, all is well now.
