All trucks, Econolines and Bronco's thru 1980 have an 11 digit VIN. 17 digits from 1981 thru today.
Passenger Cars thru 1979 have a different VIN sequence than trucks. 1980 thru today have 17 digit VIN's.
F10 = F100 2WD
J = 223 1V I-6.
E = Mahwah NJ Assembly Plant.
565963 = 1964 Numerical Sequence of Assembly (July 1964), the trucks specific serial number.
1965 Mustang VIN example: 5E08C123456 / 5 = 1965 / E = Mahwah NJ / 08 = Convertible, Body Style 76A / C = 289 2V / 123456 = 1965 Numerical Sequence of Assembly.
