New mirrors for the truck!

Ordered some new 09+ mirrors for my 04. Got tired of the Tow mirrors and the hassle. They are just too big and get in the way. plus parking every morning and having to manually pull one in sucked. So after 6 months of ownership, Im finally tired of the Towing mirrors. I have a love/hate relationship with them. Love the looks and visibility of them but HATE parking with them at work and people about taking them off going down the road.

I park between two support poles at work and each and every morning, I have to roll window down, pull mirror in, then finish backing up. Aggravating!

mine is the white truck. see all the stupid poles....

So I worked out a deal with a buddy and he bought my towing mirrors and I bought with that money these mirrors:

I know chrome dont get you home, but it ties all the chrome together on my truck (step rails, LT Handles, and grill surround).

Before:

New mirrors are ON! Love the new look! I miss the visibility of the tow mirrors but I didnt have to do anything to pull in my parking space at work this morning!!!! The truck looks a little more balanced too as the towing mirrors were kinda gaudy on the truck.

The front little clear reflector is actually LED turn signals as well. I thought it was just a reflector when I bought them like OEM ones and I was gonna paint it black, but since its also a turn signal, Ill leave it alone Very happy with the new look

Another accidental de-mod was my front vanity plate. Wife backed up into the front of my truck the other day and messed the plate up (didnt hurt anything else), but now we are gonna have to get her car a new rear bumper and a dent pulled from her trunk lid FTL... But I like the new look with no front plate!

looks great. Are they power fold? I have often thought about getting the 09+ power fold mirrors for my truck as I have to fold a mirror to get my truck in my garage. Nice set-up at work though for you that you get to park your truck out of the sun, rain, etc. anyway, they do look real nice on your truck!

Mirrors look great, wish I had a covered parking area where I work. Especially when I drive my jeep with the top off and a monsoon comes along.

Yeah I wanted some too BUT, you have to get module and all i believe for the PF option to work. I place a trade ad on some other F150 forums about a trade as most die to have tow mirrors with no hits. I wanted some OEM 09+ white capped Lariat or FX4 mirrors with heat/signal/puddle/power but no one responded!

So i found these on ebay and they just lack a puddle light. I mean they are good quality and all, but I still would have like to have OEM. One good thing is instead of an ugly orange reflector, the outside thing is a turn signal too

It is nice, BUT I work at a granite quarry so the shed does not protect against granite dust

Just stumbled across this. I love the mod and am going to get some for mine. The truck looks great and I like the fact their is a spotter mirror built in.
