Howdy Monty. Have a boring day. Mine did not get off to a boring start, but as long as it doesn't get exciting, I guess I'll take it. Hopefully, it gets boring around here again within a few hours.

Don, safe travels! Looks like a fun day was had.

When I get home this evening, Jodi and I are finally going to take the bike out for a ride and grab some dinner while we're at it. The bike hasn't been out of the garage since I put it in there when we moved in. Hopefully that changes this evening.

Have a great day gents!

Good morning one pagers - my once-in-a-while flyby. Wish we could have made the G2G and put faces to many of the names but we're in for next year.

Eric, always works that way - guns, knives, screw drivers, wrenches - you name it. The one you need is the one you don't have.

Dak, glad to see you are on Hillary's team (sarcasm off). Too bad we can't put up better choices than what we have - you'd think out of 300 million people we could do better.

Doug, how did the daughter's first year up here in the east go? She getting used to the Texas heat again? We have hot and muggy here too this year. Drinking inside is the way to go. Actually put in 2 AC units this year - usually just one in the bedroom but this year has been especially miserable.

Need to get ready for church - got to give thanks for what we do have. Have a great day guys.

Shawn, Kandyce really enjoyed her first year up there, and is looking forward to the upcoming year as well. She is working as many hours back here as possible, so her experience with the heat and humidity here is going between the house and car, car and work, etc.

Roy, rain while at work or on my way home from work won't create any issues with washing the bike, or riding when I get home. If it is raining when I get home, I will still put the bike in the driveway and wash it and Bear, so as to encourage more rain! There is actually a tornado warning in effect for south of the plant right now and the clouds are pretty impressive just off-shore this morning. We would love a bit of precip - even if it means not getting to ride. I washed Bear a few days ago to try to get it to rain, but it was unsuccessful.

Monty, hope they got their crap sorted out. I saw a higher than normal load of drunks on the freeways this morning, so hoped you didn't have to scoop up too many body parts off of the roads today.

Will be rolling west tomorrow!
Hope everyone has a fantastic day, and a better tomorrow!
Later
Looks like a fun day !!

Eric, Glad you got your trailer tire fixed up so fast. Last summer I was hauling the Bronco and a trailer started getting low and no spare. It was Sunday night and no tire open I had to keep stopping and filling it up. Thanks to my TST tire monitor I never let it go flat.

Have a good day guys!

If we could get less than 16" in 24 hours, we would enjoy a bit of rain. Our last measurable rain was June 2, and that was the last big flooding event. Between April and May, we got just over 40" of rain, and then it all went away.

That was all under water June 2.

Are the fish still in there Doug or did they hit the road during the flooding?

They may still be in there Rodney. I bet they're pretty warm though! I still see the tiny fish in there and the occasional snake or turtle.
