I don't think one can ever have enough guns. All that I have right now, plus all the ones I will get in the future will always be almost enough. It is a sickness. I can't stay away from the gun shows. Unfortunately, there is one this coming weekend right down the street from me and I'm off! If my house ever catches fire, I feel bad for the firefighters.
I heard that!
Yep, I have the sickness too, wife isn't real impressed. All she's really said is that I need another gun safe before anymore gun purchases. The .308 ammo is pricey, I purchased the AK (cheap) ammo today for about $300.00 for 1280 rounds. Pretty good for Bass Pro. It's Russian surplus in the "Spam cans".

I still have a whole mess of that crap in my closet. It shoots, but that's the best that can be said about it (other than the fact that it is SUPER cheap).

My wife doesn't say anything about it anymore. Oh yeah, I fired her a few years ago. That must be why I can't hear her gripe when I come home with a new piece.

Sounds like some good mods Roy, and not terribly expensive or difficult. I would have expected the Hobbs to have already been either on the dash, or under the engine cowl. Surprised there's not one.

Engine operating info is kept in computer memory on the engine. I don't have access to that.

Leaving off an hour meter is just another way make another buck.

Well, that sux. On our emergency response boat, it is under the cover, so I figured that was standard practice. At least they are inexpensive!

I'm still trying to hunt down someone locally that will sell a tactical .338 lapua. Savage has a nice one that is relatively inexpensive for what it is. I just dropped about $1k upgrading my AR to almost all Daniel Defense gear (upper, bolt, gas tube, barrel) and Yankee hill rail system.

My XD Mod.2 9mm, XDm40, and XDs45

Everyone should have a MP15/22

And my Ruger Gunsite .308 after customizing it

Roy, do whatever you want. We have gun **** to look at! j/k
A few minutes with a hole saw on a cordless drill and a few more minutes tapping into the ignition switch, and you'll be good to go.

Nice Justin!
My accessories so far are just a few 20rd mags, pop-up sights and a battle sling. I'll slowly modify the rest over time. With those items and an EOTech, I'm good to go for now.

Good morning, crew of merry truckers !!!
Gun **** while I was sleeping!!!! Doug, I hear you about the .223/5.56 being rather impotent! But,I guess a person can pack a lot more ammo for it! so that is kind of my "last resort" round! If the zombies get in past all my other stuff, they probably have me pretty badly outnumbered anyway, so it will be time to just get as many as I can!!!!! So, with that, I won't tell how many rounds of the bad "green tip" stuff I have!!! And for that caliber, my rifle of choice is not an AR style, but the Ruger Mini 14. It is not nearly as fussy as my AR when it comes to dust and dirt and such!!! I do have one rifle chambered for a round that was never really very popular, but is about as sweet as one can get .260 Remington, merely a .308 necked down to 6.5mm/.264 cal. Ballistics are right in with the 6.5 Swede and the 6.5 Creedmore, and a person can form their own cases by necking down the .308, or necking up the .243 Win.

Cooper Model 54, varmint weight barrel, 2 pound trigger, with a Leupold Long Range Varmint scope...56mm objective lens with a 1 inch tube 8.5Xto 25X !!!!

What is fun is when the boys with their .223's are out shooting prairie dogs start to put their guns away because the dogs are out of range, that is when I drag this out and start to shoot!!! They generally have to get their binoculars out to even see what I am shooting at!! I just tell them that if they can't run with the big dogs, they need to stay home!!!!

6 rounds.....2 shooters........115 yards!!!! For two people to be able to shoot same point of impact with one rifle is pretty amazing!!!

Good morning, guys.

Justin, nice arsenal. Love the gun ****.

Doug and Mitch, I really like the the 7.62x52mm/.308 Winchester round. I carried the M-14 for about a year before we transitioned to the M-16A1. I much preferred the M-14 for its accuracy and knock down power. I will admit that the M-16 was easier to carry in the jungle than the M-14. However it was more finicky. I do have an AR-15; but I rarely fire it.

I also have an AK-47, SKS and Ruger Mini 30 in 7.62x39mm. These are the ones I fire the most. I have a couple of thousand rounds of 7.62x39.

In the Army, I qualified with the long bow; we were just transitioning to the musket.
