Gerry - Any more movement on your side for the Eastern part to try and secede? Every once in a while I see an article of a grass roots movement for secession.

Going OK.. Hope all is well on your end of the world too. I keep hearing about rain and rough seas. This is where you earn your money in your business.

yeah, I was able to meet up with him. Hoping to do the same thing when he returns up this way.

Went out and bought some fresh Salmon -- all this talk about Roy going fishing made me crave fish tonight so picked up a couple of Filets for now. Hope Roy catches 100 pounds or so of Salmon to share. (or Halibut)

I can only imagine how real fresh salmon is, we buy the "local" fresh fillets, it's good, but you're getting it basically at the source.

I will let you know. I've had it "fresh" here before, but a lot depends on how it is cooked. I am going to cook these myself, so we shall see. Sometimes I do well and sometimes I do not.

All I can tell you is that this time the fish came out incredible. The fresh fish was definitely part of it and I was able to not overcook it.

One more filet for tomorrow... I may be going back for some more. The entire fish gutted and headed was only $5.99 a pound. I bought already cleaned and deboned filets for $8.99 as I didn't want to mess with the bones.

I hope Roy catches a bunch of Salmon on his fishing trip.

I bet that was a small building since the Marines don't know anything about science! Sorry Mitch...couldn't help it.

Good morning gang. Last day of work for me before long change. My parents and youngest brother may be at my house tonight before I even get there, and I'm looking forward to seeing them again. The brisket is in the bottom of the fridge and ready to go on the smoker early Saturday morning. There are two fresh batches of rotten fruit juice ready to drink when they arrive. WooHoo!

Hope you all have a great day!

WE didn't, the politicians did! over the next 3 years it will eventually be right at .20 for gas and .30 for diesel I don't think many of the ones in office will get re-elected. People are ticked!!!

Morning gang! Sitting here watching the rain come across the lake. Shouldn't last long and then clearing the rest of the day. Very peaceful out here by myself just listening to the water and the birds. Still gonna be a good day! Even though none of us planned this, from sites 22 all the way to 31 are public safety personnel. I've worked with most of them, even taught several. Small world! But having a blast!!!
