Good morning guys!

I tried to raise chickens years ago. I bought a dozen chicks from a local farmer and brought them home hoping to have fresh eggs every day and chicken now and then. They didn't do so well. They never grew. I don't know if I planted them too deep, or too far apart. Roy, the girls look like they're enjoying themselves. The baby is a cutie for sure!

Dak, congrats on your son.

Shawn, be careful with all of the ice.

Bill, good to see you check in again.

Tim, how's the kitchen?

Monty, hang in there. More days off and anther camping trip are right around the corner.

I start three nights tonight. This is the first time in a month to work nights. It will be a nice change from the hustle and bustle of days. Have a great day gang.

Nice Doug... Nice....

Like no one has done a photoshop of a Ford?

Thanks for the congrats for my Son... Now it is up to him to do well in school.

I guess this is the year for NE snow again... In the 20's this morning here - the low snow is creating problems as the snow usually insulates things and it wasn't there so drainage ditches are now frozen solid. The ditch by my house has "busted its banks". Good thing it only floods the downhill neighbors house and not mine. He has been out with torches and a garden hose trying to get his flowing.

Roy, just a suggestion, get a couple of Guinea Fowl and put in the yard with them. They will try to protect your chickens, at least make enough noise if something is after them, and are great for insect control, they are better than a watch dog, loud SOB's!

The Chickens will be in a Fenced enclosure....(all sides and top) . We also have a Border Collie and a German Shepard...........If we let the Hens run loose, I would expect a doggie to have lunch.
