Good morning gang and happy Christmas Eve.

Mitch, I'm glad your mom was spared from the storms yesterday. I saw the footage on the news and it looked bad. There's never a good time for something like this to happen, but there couldn't have been much worse of a time for it. Part of that storm rolled through here yesterday morning ahead of the cold front and brought severe thunderstorms and lots of high winds and rain, but nothing like what happened after it hit that other front in LA, MS, FL, AL and GA.

My kids have something up their sleeves for me today, so I have to meet them at 11:00 at their mom's house for them to take me wherever their surprise is. After we finish with that, we will all have dinner together, then open presents. Early tomorrow morning, I'll head to my middle brother's place in Plantersville to spend the day with his family. The weather is great today and supposed to be tomorrow as well, so hopefully travelling will be easy. I hope you all get to spend time with your families and have safe travels as well.

If I don't get to say it again tomorrow, Merry Christmas to you all!

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve fellow 1 pagers!

It's our third Christmas in this thread. Man how time flies! We wrapped presents last night and are all ready for Christmas except for 1 present that we hope will make it today. If it doesn't oh well. We are more excited for the afternoon/evening and family tradition. We go to 4:15 mass, drive through the park to see how beautiful it is and then come home. Then it's build your own nacho night...yes, that's right, NACHOS. After a full stuff your face full of food, we watch a movie together. It's a wonderful tradition that we have done for about 8 years now. Love it.

Iowa Tim...we are likely changing plans. Not enough snow to ride down by White Lake. We are thinking of driving to Eagle River or Mercer. Are you staying at the Great Northern? I think the trails in Mercer are in the best shape.

Thanks everyone, I hope everyone has a "Merry Christmas". Be careful out there while you're out and about!
For those wishing for snow up yonder, hopefully the man upstairs makes it happen, I know Andre has to be chomping at the bit to unleash the sleds!

PS: Easy on the NACHOS 'Dre!

No way! Nachos are delicious!

I hope you offshore boys make the best of a tough situation. I really feel for anyone that has to work on holidays. Most people understand that someone has to do it, but many few appreciate the sacrifice it takes to actually do it. Thank you to all that do...

It can suck, if you reflect on it, but as I stated earlier, I sometimes loose sight of how lucky I am. If the worst thing for me is working through the holidays, I am truly blessed indeed. I'd love to be home, but there are some folks that no longer have a home to go to.

On another note, after looking a 2,100+ "one pages", I've come to the conclusion that you can't count Andre!
(Boy, ain't I swuft!)

Hi Matt, I installed the "Pop-n-Lock" on my tailgate. Took me all of about 2 hours. The hardest part was finding the correct wires for the door lock to tap in to.

What city in AZ were you in when it happened. When the wife and I were on vacation in a few years ago the Explorer was broken into where we spent the night in Kayenta. They just broke the drivers side window out.

Good morning all. An early Merry Christmas as well.

My thoughts and prayers to those hit by the tornado.

So much to do today it's unreal. Then tonight I'm curling up on the couch and cuddling with my little one while we watch A Christmas Story a few times.

The weather is suppose to turn bad here shortly. I hope we get enough that it sticks until the morning for a white Christmas.

Have a great Christmas all.

Kinda brings things into perspective...I just don't know how good I have it.
I saw it on TV last night.........sad
