This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
The Duramax head gasket job from hell is complete. Would have been nicer to have a 2-post lift so we didn't have to pull the engine to drill out 6 broken injector hold down bolts and yank out one seized injector. Engine was all back together about 8:30 last night. Truck was running at 9:30 this morning after an all nighter to get it back to the customer today.
Myself, my son and my son's friend did the work last night. Got down to about 1C last night so I hung plastic and fired the salamander so we didn't freeze. Garage is too small for this kind of work at this time of year.

The real story..........Once I got the Build date and a guess on delivery, I feel better with the wait game.........Also, shopping and buying toys for the truck is helping......
Today I ordered the Front bumper and Moose guard. Tough Country Deluxe with fog lamp cutouts.....welded shackle rings.....Recessed 2" receiver tube.....and Primer paint. Once it gets here, I'll have ProCraft paint it the KR accent color, Caribou Metallic.....
Once it ships ........may be an impatient time period for me.........Something like.....Is it here yet....Where the hell is it....I want my truck Now.....
