This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
Evening Gents, hope all is well with everyone!
Roy, they more I thought about the text you received about the truck, definitely a scam. I remember a thread where a guy really screwed with the guy conducting the scam....not sure what can be done legally though.
Congrats to the team Andre!
Not real sure about the heat issue Dak, as you know, we Southerners need a secondary "cooling source", not more heat !
To everyone else, hope you had a great weekend and have a better week!
Now, I have a question. What do you guys recommend as far as an adjustable reciever hitch. I plan in the future to lift the truck, no more than a 4" lift though, so would a 6" drop (max) be enough? I'm leaning towards an Andersen rapid hitch, but really have no experience with any adjustable hitch.

Roy - Just getting the 15 I dropped more than 2 mpg and I got basically the same exact truck... Even on the highway, going slow and easy... At least then it is only 2 mpg. (16 vs. 18) My city driving is now 12 compared to 14.5 - 15. I don't know why either, doesn't make sense. And this is driving the same roads with the 2011 I had... Not like I am comparing driving in Miami to Alaska...
Might want to ask to drive a Dually on an extended test drive to see what you can get going highway speeds.
Cool Iowa Tim on the Harvest.
Mitch - Yes, redundant A/Cs are a must down south! And apparently in oil and gas fields in Northern Canada.

I do need to go with the dually due to the Monster 5th wheel.
I like fixed receivers also, but we have (between my Dad and I) several different style / size trailers, it can be a PITA with the fixed receivers, unless you carry a couple with you.

Wow, Roy no one carries Duallies in stock. Hard to believe... I would want to drive one with a 3.73 and a 4.30 just to see the difference between the two. I will tell you that you won't like running 75mph + with those 4.30s... Not that you can't, but the sound of money going out of the exhaust pipe will be huge.

I have the 6 inch DiversiTech adjustable hitch.
Fastway Trailer Products » FLASH? Adjustable Locking Ball Mount
I really love mine. It looks like they may have been bought out or changed their name recently though. I got mine through 4wheel parts.

Locks?
The hitch I have uses the same key to both lock the hitch position in place as well as retract / extend the built in hitch pin.
Are you looking to lock something else?

And since I love whoring out the photos of my truck, you can see the 6 inch hitch on my truck here:
