Of course the reno has taken 6 yrs but almost done now, then it's time to move
That is the way it used to be.....Stationed in one place for 4 years......than on to the next place.......I've been in Great Falls Montana for 20 years !! I still am starting projects.....don't know how to stop.....

Steve - Yep, I will never forget 9/11. Tried to rep you again, but as previously stated all out of ammo.
Be nice to the sweet Lady........Turn up the heat to 69*F.........

Heat won't turn on unless I turn it up to 75F or so... Actually I am being nice, going out and buying her a space heater. I would get her a heated blanket, but she isn't cold in bed... (I'll just have to let you use your imagination on that one).

GOlfmedic, I called on you in another forum - the two alternators thread...

What does the SD in your ambulance have in it? single or dual and have you had any alternator problems? (I know you have had motor issues...)

All of the ambulances have dual alternators and we have only had a few, and I mean maybe 5 alternator failures from both services in the last 5-6 years and only 1 with the 6.7 platform. I realized in talking with one of the techs at the Ford place the other day, that I made a mistake in not getting dual alternators in my personal truck this time. If the electrical system drops below 10v the engine will not run.

Along the same lines, the new engine is in our med unit. When the other was removed, it had a crack in the block around the crankshaft in the front on the side of the number 5(front left) piston. Still unknown as to what happened, but it was somewhere in that neighborhood.
