Tim Y. - Take it easy, don't work too hard.
Andre - Have fun camping. Milwaukee sounds like fun!
Darren - sorry your truck is still giving you problems. I tried to rep you for the "If it stars" comment, but I got no ammo.
Matt - Have fun at Jellystone!
DAK - Glad you made it to AK. Get a '15!!
Bill - Have fun at the game.
Tim - Have fun at the smoke shows.
Gerry - You are going to love your toasty floor.
Take lots of pictures, just in case you ever need to know the location of the pex tubing.
It's the best feature in my shop, I love it! It's worth every penny. I just wish I would have heated my basement floor. I'm still kicking myself for that one.
Have a good one guys.

Howdy guys
x3 on the slab heat Gerry. We have it in the garage and basement in the city and it is really nice. Yer gonna want a floor drain in the garage as well to deal with the melted snow. Recovery sucks but a nice warm floor is soooo nice. You can do outdoor reset control real easy with a simple Techmar controller. I can get you some info if you like, maybe a bit overkill for a garage but it will avoid the huge overshoot when it is only cool outside. I put one on my system in an hour.
Have fun fellas

I'm sure a few people already know this but here goes anyhew.
In reguards to finding pex after concrete is placed and you decide you want to put one of them new free standing hoists in, but don't want to ruin the Pex. Just buy your friends at the fire station a few beers. Turn on the heat, and use the infrared viewer to find lines, mark with chalk and you're done!!

I originally got the water heater just to use the tank as a reservoir.
I'm outta ideas for Darren's truck too.
Party at Gerry's place.
Ummmm, well I guess it's one zone with nine loops that are 200-250' long, eight loops in the shop and one in the kennel. Or it's just nine zones? I use a couple of 4 valve manifolds (manual valves not powered) to adjust (restrict) flow to the loops (zones). The thermostat temp sensor is in direct contact with the floor and insulated so it is unaffected by variations in air temperature. I use single pump controlled by the thermostat and a water heater set at ~105°F so I don't need a mixing valve. It's a very cheap setup. When I first hooked it up I wanted to see if I could just use the water heater to heat the floor without the boiler and it's been hooked up like that since 2002, with the boiler still in its crate.

Radiant heat is the best, no cold feet, no cold floor.
