I'm watching the race last night, Gordon hits Bower, Bower runs through the pits chasing Gordon and then they show the Bower 5 hour energy commercial LMOA - they need to add a segment to that commercial and show him running past a row of car haulers.

OK Savage, you asked for it LOL.
This be my life for about the next 8 months. 1/2 the time in the office and 1/2 the time here, 3 hours from home (Calgary). We have 19 modules (buildings) we are doing the HVAC on in vrious states of completion.... Only 3 are done and shipped, that leaves 16 more. You can see our stuff on the buildings on the right side. We do the HVAC and HVAC control system complete including install and commissioning. I am here only for inspection and commissioning (getting signatures to get paid). I am sitting in the hotel now (usually here fo 2 - 4 days at a time) missing my family. But it's not all bad, we didn't blow anything up today

This yard is right on the eastern edg of Calgary, here is the view the other way. Too bad its not on the west, would be nice to look at the mountains

Do those buildings house electronic equipment thus the need for huge HVAC systems for a small building?
Or do several of those buildings connect ductwork to the building with the unit?

They house 100% only electrical equipment, like switchgear, VFD, DCS, SIS etc which gives off a lot of heat and yes thus the need for huge HVAC systems. Some (10) of those buildings have huge HVAC system on BOTH ends . Some of the hugeness is to do with 1) 100% redundancy, 1 operating unit (air conditioner) and 1 100% standby 2) Chemical filtration (scrubber) there is a CFU on the DCS side that scrubbs the outside air (used for pressurization of the building) of HS2. It's like a big carbon filter. H2S corrodes copper so it is the last thing you want is a DCS /SIS building.

DCS is the control system that operates a plant durrng normal conditions and SIS is the control system that takes over durring an emergency (basically ).

I've sold and designed a lot of buildings for projects like that one. Very nice. I'd like some snow for Saturday's opening day, but it's not going to happen. I'm a disappointed, but will make the best of it. Great pics! Keep 'em coming...

Got the Savage sighted in on Tuesday, it only took one shot at 100 yards and I was done. I love that gun.

Can't wait 'til Friday morning.
Nite nite.
